"If you do not love" ... but this song reminds me of something ... A

Good Sunday to all! From
this post, I hear a good song by Nek ... and video (which you can see below) made for a prayer vigil.

In fact, the text very reminiscent of the hymn of love First Corinthians (chapter 13) of St. Paul :
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And if I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my substances and give my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind, not envious, does not boast, it is not inflated, 5 not rude, does not seek its own interests, not angry, takes no account of evil; 6 does not rejoice, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, endures all things. 8 Charity never fails. The prophecies will cease; the gift of tongues will cease, and science will vanish. 9 Our knowledge is imperfect and we prophesy. 10 But when what is perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 As a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned like a child. I became a man, what a child I was abandoned. 12 now we see through a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now these three abideth faith, hope and charity, but the greatest of these is love!
does not seem to you?
Well, as well as to take advantage of my spirit, I could also use it with the kids at school. Monica

Thinspirations Pro Ana

pc each teacher? Legendary!

hello,
I just read this post this good news:
... a new project on schools plan to give each teacher a laptop computer to use for teaching and management students ...
equipping every teacher with a personal netbook, which can also be used in wireless (wireless) the school is able to move towards new forms of teaching , with lessons more interactive, where technology allows you to investigate any matter, including through the use of the Internet, reaching over time to eliminate paper and pen through the 'exclusive use of digital media ...
Here, I agree! I want too!
Even if ... indeed, the school has less money ... not provide us with the correct pen for the tasks and fill thousands of pages of our books (and I'm always - but always really! - late in the compilation of absenteeism, arguments ...), I have to pay me at times I photocopies for pupils would be strange indeed to receive a PC!
But permettiamoci to dream! Of course that would make the work more quickly and efficiently ... also for the environment.
I already always carry your PC, but it is not a netbook because its good weight ... especially if they combine to records, books, photocopies for the various classes ... or books to be corrected. Sometimes girerei with a suitcase with wheels in the corridors of the school!
And what do you think? How is the technological equipment of your schools? Would you be happy to see implemented the initiative described in this post?
Meanwhile, I will continue to drag behind my dear computer and compiling stacks of documents and records ... But it will be better days! Monica

How To Build A Raised Pond

Two proposals for Lent (perhaps more for catechism)

Hello,
point out these two activities to those of you who, like me, is also involved in catechesis for children, as well as teaching religion in school.
1. A calendar for Lent . I found this great post a timetable in English to accompany the journey of Lent. I thought translate and adapt the image to use it with my children the catechism. In doing this work, I arose a doubt: the author of the original image has counted 40 days until Holy Saturday, excluding Sundays ... I have always considered as the Palm Sunday of Lent last day (so I changed the number of days in the picture) ... But ...

calendario_quaresima

If you want to better exploit the meaning of the rites of Holy Week, you could do this activity .

2. A crown of thorns of bread. Always the same blog, I collect the suggestion for the creation of a crown of thorns, as well as other interesting ideas. Each time the children will make good deeds, will remove one of stuzzicandenti. It seems simple, but significant. Here are the instructions (in English). Monica

Quotes That Show Sympathy For Victor Frankenstein

Bars page in Milan: the Rosetta Stone

Dear friends,
especially for those of you who live near Milan, I report this nice initiative: at the Library Holy Land Via Gherardini 6 Thursday, February 25 from 18:30 there will be the conference

the stele of ROSETTA :
to discover together the text engraved
the world's most famous granite

in the "Bars of copyright." Here are the speakers ...

Aristide Malnati , journalist and papyrologist

talks with
Alberto Elli , author and expert in Semitic languages \u200b\u200band Egyptology
Paolo Belloni and Paul Bondielli , founding members of the association Egittologia.net
And here are some other indications from the mail I received from the Holy Land Edition:
The importance of the Rosetta Stone, the British Museum in London and visited by millions of tourists each year, is known to the general public. Recently, it has also reignited the debate about a possible return to Egypt. However, very few would know the contents of the report ol'esatta document the historic significance of its decipherment in the nineteenth century by the French scholar Jean-François Champollion. How this famous piece of gray granite was useful for the latter to dispel the thick clouds that enveloped the hieroglyphic writing? What did the ancient Egyptians carved on its surface? What was the historical context of Egypt when the stele was engraved?
Alberto Elli, author of "The Rosetta stone and the Order of Memphis" (Ananke Edizioni, 2009) manual which includes the first scientific edition Italian trilingual text of the stele, is confronted with these questions in dialogue with Aristide Malnati, journalist and papyrologist. Alberto Elli is a passionate scientist, nuclear engineer devoted to the study of Egyptology and Semitic languages. The appointment comes as no academic conference reserved for professionals, but as an opportunity for fans and those just looking to deepen knowledge of an almost mythical relic.
If anyone involved, give us a good guide!

Some Vidios To Masterbate To

Catholic Social Networking? There are ... There are ...

Hello,
this morning I read this post : from an image that sums up the social networks in the New Testament, the author makes a quick overview of social networks in the Christian world .. . then towards the end of the view that the phenomenon is not widespread in Italy ...
We are then in Italy. The only social networks that have encountered is Faithbook.it . It is not working but we can get an idea from the pages of the search engine cache. Scrolling down the list of Catholic websites , I do not see anything "social" as well as the page link CL Online. E 'be active and present ChristianCafè , Christian Evangelicals. We'll see then if the invitation of Pope Ratzinger will be accepted and what strategies will be used for the evangelization of the network.
Ok, definitely the way of the evangelization of the network is still long, but some progress has been also made by the Catholic Church in Italy ... perhaps the gentle author of the blog post does not know Luca and its interesting and updated reports . But luckily we do!

What Happens If You Wash A Northface Fleeze

on baptism and temptation in the desert - filmic cues

Hello,
these days with the boys of my second, I'm working on the figure of Jesus we are following His first steps in public life: the baptism in the Jordan and the temptations in the desert.
I've always found fascinating is the choice made by director and screenwriter of the film "Jesus " in presenting scenes of temptation ... un'antipazione in the desert of the charges even more profound and challenging, according to the story of the film, the devil turns to Jesus in Gethsemane. A devil too "reasonable" ... at times it's almost hard to blame him ... obviously the logic of the "prince of this world" ...
I experienced a few years ago with the kids watching some scenes from the film, on which we are facing and then work together. So I left
by baptism ...

to continue the temptations in the desert ...

and finally here are the card on which we worked:

baptism and temptation in the movie "Jesus"
