Dear friends, I was
reported this nice article from Il Sole 24 Ore: edifying reading prompted me to reflect the style of the teacher, following the example of the Pope, who still now feels the desire to ritorvarsi with alumni.
summer of rest and work, as always is the summer of the popes. The difference is that this year will be lived entirely in Castel Gandolfo, and not in the mountain village so loved by his predecessor John Paul II. For Benedict XVI the "vacation" summer are synonymous with walking, relaxing by the most stringent daily occupations, but also a time to strengthen reading and study, the work of writing to which the theologian Pope is very keen. After the second part of the book on Jesus of Nazareth, dedicated to the Passion and Resurrection, Ratzinger began working on a third part of the work, dedicated to the infancy gospels .Read the article here.
How precious time spent with our boys!
Of course, the students that happen to us are smaller than those of the Pope .. and their issues are addressed, less theologically significant ... but the joys and sorrows of growing up is key! Star next to them during and beyond the lesson, with the style of the Pope in the footsteps of Jesus himself with the Apostles is really a gift of grace for our students, but also for us!
I happen to share in any class that delicate but deep intimacy that unites the teacher with pupils in a relationship of confrontation, dialogue and mutual support, but I have not always (or force?) To create other opportunities to meet .
I will hold dear to this article made me reflect once again on the beauty of being a teacher!
Buona Domenica. Monica
